The Erin Pouch

Today is a special day because it’s the launch of my first PDF purse pattern. The Erin Pouch is the first pattern in the LeJanaroB pattern collection! The design for this pattern literally woke me up from a nap and I immediately began to draw it out. This is a free pdf pattern that also has a step by step video tutorial. This pattern features a front pocket with a magnetic snap closure and a top zipper. What I love the most about the Erin Pouch pattern is the versatility! I designed this pattern so that it can be made out of different fabrics such as leather, vinyl, cork, denim, and cotton cloth. For those that do not sew, I will be selling the physical Erin Pouch in my online store.

The top is Simplicity 8529 view C, made with a red Ponte knit from Fine Fabrics. I love the high low feature of this view with the slits on the side. The next time I make this view I will add a few inches to the neckline because it was a little too small so it looks gathered and doesn’t lay flat. I paired the top with a pair of leggings from Wal-Mart and boots I found on clearance at Bass Factory Outlets.

You’re welcome! I’m praying that you have a speedy recovery! Unfortunately the fabric store doesn’t do online orders but fabric.com has the ponte knit as well.
