DIY Pencil Case

Hello all!

It’s time for a new tutorial. In this tutorial, I will show you how to make a quick and easy pencil case. This pencil case can hold lead pencils, highlighters, flash drives, etc.

Tools:

  • 1 Fat quarter
  • ¼ yard woven interfacing
  • 8” zipper
  • Ruler
  • Fabric marking pen
  • Scissors
  • Coordinating thread
  • Sewing machine
  • Iron and ironing board

Fabric, lining, and woven interfacing should be cut 9” x 5” and you need an 8” zipper. Fuse the woven interfacing to the 2 main fabric pieces. Use the ruler and fabric marking pen to measure the 9” x 5” inches from all pieces and the scissors to cut each piece. Check out the tutorial below for step by step instructions on how to assemble the pencil case.
