DIY Bucket Bag Tutorial

Hello All!

Who doesn’t love a bucket bag?! The only thing better than a bucket bag, is a bucket bag that you can DIY! I’ve been working hard on my next set of patterns for LeJanaroB Patterns, but I realized that I haven’t done a freebie tutorial in a while. I created this bucket bag pattern and decided that this would be the perfect DIY for you all.

In the YouTube tutorial, I show you step by step how to draft the pattern, cut the fabric, and sew together. The only things I did not show you in the video is how to install the grommets and adjustable strap but don’t worry, I added some great resources for you in the description of the video as well as this blog post.

What I love most about this pattern is that it is one piece, so it does not take up a lot of space and it is quick and easy to sew up. I used a denim fabric for the exterior and an cotton African print for the lining, strap, and drawstring.

If you have any questions or have trouble sewing this pattern, don’t hesitate to leave a comment or email me at info@lejanaro.com. If you make this pattern, don’t forget to tag me on social media @lejanarobpatterns. You can also showcase your designs in the LeJanaroB Patterns Facebook group here.  You can find the list of tools and resources for the pattern by following this link Bucket Bag.
