Hello and welcome to day 9 of our 12 Days of DIY Christmas Gift Ideas! Today we are doing a bible cover! Not only can you use this tutorial to cover a bible, but you can cover any book that you want. I remember in school we had to cover out books with brown paper bags or covers, but now we can use fun fabrics to cover them. I love this tutorial because you can use all kinds of fun prints to cover your bible or book. I have created a template showing how to measure your bible and calculate how much fabric you will need to cut. You can find the template here BIBLE COVER. You can find the video here. Here are the tools you will need:
- BIBLE COVER Download Template
- Worksheet Template & Pen
- ½ yard of fabric
- ½ yard of lining
- ½ yard of fusible fleece
- ½ yard of woven interfacing
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Marking pen or chalk roller
- Pins or clips
- Thread
- Iron and ironing board
- Sewing machine
How to work with 1/2 in my bible 9 1/2 x 14 3/4. This is what throw me off. How do you do fraction.
