Today I want to share this comfy dress from Simplicity 8790. I made view A of this pattern, using a grey jersey knit fabric from Fabric World. This is a local store in Stone Mountain, GA and unfortunately, they do not have a website that you can order from.
I love this dress because it is very comfortable, and it has a hood. When I started to make this dress, I decided to do a “sew along” on my Instagram stories and I saved the videos under the highlight “Sew with me”. Check out the pattern review below:

Fabric used: Gray Jersey Knit
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done? Yes
What size did you cut? Medium for the top and large for the bottom
Level of difficulty: Easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I’m not fond of the hood, it is not a typical hoodie. I like a more traditional hoodie.
Pattern alterations or design changes: I used elastic for the waistband instead of a drawstring
Would you sew it again? Yes
Would you recommend it for others? Yes
This is cute and comfy all wrapped up in one.
